To fans of UK punk Henry Cluney, founding member of Stiff Little Fingers, will need no introduction, and since setting up XSLF in 2013 with former SLF drummer Jim Reilly they bought the earlier classics of SLF to fans world-wide. Henry, Jim and bass player Ave Tsarion had also been writing and recording their own original music, until Jim (on the advice of his doctor) had to leave the band. Drumming duties are now taken care of by Glenn Kings (also drummer for legendary Belfast band The Defects) and XSLF continue to bring fans a set of greats from SLF’s first three albums as well as their own originals’
Old Farts Play Punk – sometimes! OFPP are an ‘occasional band’ made up of musicians who are all in other bands, but who get together now and then to bring punk fans a mixed set of all the punk greats. You can expect songs from the likes of the Sex Pistols, Damned, Clash, Jam, Buzzcocks, etc, but, on this occasion, no SLF!
